equipping saints to encounter God's glory

is often referred to as the season
of miracles and I truly believe that it is. Looking outside my window at the two
inches of snow on the ground with the downy flakes still falling thick and
heavy, I thank can’t help but smile at all the ways God reveals His glory us.
You see, we live in Las Vegas and snow is a rare sight. As we drove around
running errands today, I saw adults become like little children once again as
they opened their mouths to catch snowflakes on their tongues. Giggles,
laughter, and sparkles in everyone’s eyes enhanced the joyful feeling. And I
am sure God smiled. During what other time of the year do those not yet following Christ joyfully sing of His birth and holiness, receiving Him as King and call out “oh, come let us adore Him”? The Holy Spirit must have a lot of fun in the months of November and December when people allow their hearts to be softened like no other time of the year. The fruit of the Spirit flows generously from believers and pre-believers to feed, clothe, and reach out to those in need. People who haven’t seen their family all year begin to yearn to be home for the holidays. The hearts of fathers and mothers turn to their children and children turn to their parents. Just listen to the fruit of the Spirit and you will know He is working through so many during this season: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Let’s give ourselves a present this year and take time to be amazed at the reality of Jesus alive and dwelling among us. We can see His kingdom at work and even better, be at work in His kingdom. We can also give the greatest gift of all to around us if we look for opportunities to share the love and truth of Jesus with those who don’t know Him on a personal level. This is a time of year more than any other to share Christ’s desire to have an in-depth relationship with each one of us because hearts are tender and receptive. Shine like the star that lead the pagan wise men to the King of Kings where they worshiped Him. We
wish you and your loved ones a very Merry
Christmas! Holiday Sale!
